About SurplusFindr

SurplusFindr lists 1274 Japan surplus shops across 340 cities and towns, so you can find the ones near you and call ahead before you make the trip.

Where the listings come from

Each shop starts from public business listings such as Google Maps: its name, address, phone number, map location and Google rating. We sort shops by region, city and what they sell, like furniture, car parts, tools and kitchenware.

Many shops are simply called "Japan Surplus" and don't say what they stock. Those stay under General goods until the owner tells us more.

Ratings and reviews

Shop pages show the rating the shop has on Google. Visitors with a free account can also leave their own rating, review and photos on SurplusFindr.

For shop owners

Being listed is free. If your shop is already here, you can claim it and then update your phone number, hours, photos and categories yourself. If it's missing, send it to us on the add your shop page.

Something wrong with a listing?

Shops close, move and change numbers. Email hey@surplusfindr.com with the shop name, the city and what changed, and we'll update it. You can also reach us through the contact page.
